School Days

Our first primary school opened at Oyangbene community, situated beside the recently
 opened Clinic.
Many children in the community suffer injury and illness often playing without
supervision their parents working in the small farms. Several can drown fishing
and canoeing without adults, many unable to swim.

The community  requested we start a school. There is a small fee for each child which
goes to employ a graduate teacher.

Given Government teachers have not been paid for several months in the State schools
we were able to recruit a good candidate, encouraged by a regular salary.

We have three classes with over 40 registered for the next academic year.
